🧐 Choosing a colour scheme is one of the first things we talk about with our clients. It impacts every aspect of an event, from the invitation to floral decorations⁠⁠
and table linens. ⁠⁠

We will discuss what mood your want to create, how you want your guests to feel, plus what kind of personality you have to best reflect this in your event should you choose to do so! ⁠⁠

This is event decor 101⁠⁠

Once we've decided on a colour scheme, we choose to pair it with a base colour and an accent colour. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
The base colour is usually white, black or another neutral. ⁠⁠
An accent colour is a colour used in quite small quantities to lift or to add punch to a colour scheme.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
🚨The typical rule is ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Primary colour should take up approximately 60% of the space⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Base colour should constitute approximately⁠⁠
30% of the space⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Accent colour should take up 10% of the decor design⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Here's an example: ⁠⁠
If an arrangement of flowers has 20 flowers⁠⁠
12 of those will be violet⁠⁠
6 will be cream ⁠⁠
2 will be yellow.⁠⁠
